Clarkson defeated Lake State 3-2 to take the Pettit Cup and win their first in season tournament since 1994. Nick Dodge tallied his fourth goal of the tournament. Shawn Weller scored to give the Knights their first lead and the game winner was scored by Shea Guthrie. David Leggio stopped 27 shots in the win. The win has huge implications for the Knights in the pairwise rankings later in the season.

Clarkson has won seven in a row and will faceoff against McGill next weekend and take on Colgate and Cornell in two weeks.
